J. R. Maxwell

G il Alba has been quite the inspirational mentor type of investigator, since I met him in May, 2003, at a seminar held in Overland Park, KS. I drove over 1,300 miles round trip to attend his seminar, "THE ART OF INVESTIGATION." I was allowed to absorb the vast knowledge and experience Gil had offered to share, thus, I did so, without hesitation. Gil is not selfish with his methods and ideas, as he strives to see that everyone has an opportunity to remain positively enthusiastic and realistic in the field of investigations. He always has new thoughts, never 'painting himself in a corner'. Without a stutter, I would attend more of his classes and seminars, as I learn something new every time we communicate.

I have spent over 23 years in law enforcement. I, within the last year, have opened and operated TONCK Investigations, LLC, based in south east Colorado. As some may know, there are some difficulties experienced in the transition from controlled law enforcement field to starting a private investigations firm, i.e. locating data, connections etc. Gil, (from New York), has given me (in Colorado) assistance on two cases and advise on others. I am honored to say that all did have positive outcomes.

In closing, I have taken the time to study Gil's work. I trust and respect Gil. Therefore, I will say, without a doubt, Gil is the most knowledgeable, compassionate, determined, dedicated, empathetic, caring and giving when dealing with the victims and or their loved ones. He possesses all that it takes to be the "Ultimate Private Investigator." I feel very, very proud, honored and blessed to know Gil, as should the Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State.

Very fondly and Respectfully,

J. R. Maxwell
